É a tática que os golpistas usam para convencer a vítima a fazer ações que a levam a dar informações ou seguir passos que facilitem os golpes.
O passo a passo para um golpe acontecer:
Preparo
Golpistas coletam informacoes pessoais, hábitos e dados de redes sociais, alem de buscar dados disponiveis na internet, para compreender o perfil da vitima antes de entrar em contato.
Contato
Depois, eles entram em contato por telefone, e-mail, mensagens ou ate pessoalmente, de forma convincente para ganhar a confianca da vitima.
Exploração
Em seguida, na fase da exploração, as pessoas golpistas usam do medo, urgência, empatia ou curiosidade para manipular a vítima e fazê-la agir sem pensar.
Conclusão
Na conclusão, a vítima dá acesso a uma senha, faz uma transferência ou clica em um link, permitindo que os criminosos consigam o que querem.
A melhor defesa é a dúvida:
desconfie antes de agir.
● Confirme sempre pelos canais oficiais: ligacoes, cobrancas e ate boletos. Uma checagem com a gente pode te livrar.
● Desconfie de pressa, links que expiram ou pedidos de taxa, como "liberar encomenda" ou "taxa de correio".
● Confira o beneficiário antes de pagar boletos. Golpes de boleto falso sao frequentes.
● Desconfie de ofertas com descontos exagerados na internet e anuncios patrocinados. Digite o endereco da loja no navegador e nao clique em links.
● Pedidos urgentes de dinheiro no WhatsApp? Ligue para confirmar.
● Jamais entregue celular/cartao a terceiros ou pague taxas por brindes desconhecidos.
